About us

Heal Zimbabwe is a peace-building organisation whose work is centred on deepening social cohesion, with a focus on inclusive citizenship, salubrious relationships amongst citizens (horizontal) and trust between the citizen and state (vertical); and tolerance of the other, of different religion, race, gender, sex, ethnicity, and political affiliation at all tiers of the Zimbabwean society. Since its establishment in 2009, the organisation continues working on transitional justice policy advocacy, human rights protection and peace-building.

Heal Zimbabwe staff and stakeholders serve above themselves by working with enabling stakeholders to rebuild Zimbabwe through restoring lost lives /hope within the people through conflict transformation and community building. We support victims and survivors of diverse forms of conflict, violence, displacement and disenfranchisement. Our work is rooted in community level activities supported by infrastructures for peace such as community peace clubs, women safe spaces for reconciliation and voluntary Community Based Organisations (CBOs) that mainstream peace-building and champion human rights protection.
